Understanding Sliding Scale Pricing
My sliding scale operates on a trust basis. You don’t have to prove anything to me to qualify for it. If we decide to work together and it supports you, you can use it.
Why sliding scale?
I follow the Green Bottle Economic Justice sliding scale model created by Worts + Cunning Apothecary. I have adapted the below to suit my business needs. You may find that you meet the descriptions in multiple tiers. There are no hard lines, and financial realities are complex. These tiers are based on the honor system, so check in with yourself about what feels within your means.
The highest price reflects the true cost of my services. It is the cost that I would charge all clients in the absence of a sliding scale to sustain myself comfortably.
