We all deserve culturally humble, trauma-informed, and gentle care for our reproductive health journeys — care that sees where we've been, where we are now, and where we would like to be.

My work as as a full spectrum birth worker / doula is to be a consistent place to land for you and your family through the transformation of your perinatal experience, ranging from fertility to conception, pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and also through one’s gender transition. As your doula, it is my honor to walk alongside you, bearing witness to the many rivers that brought you here, and supporting you in building & implementing a care plan that works for you & your family’s specific needs. There is so much that we cannot predict in the perinatal experience, but what I can offer is evidence-based education, a steady presence, and deep care that meets you where you are, so that we can greet whatever arises, together.

I approach birth work as liberation work. As a queer and genderfluid Korean person who has experienced multiple levels of violence, I understand how important it is to feel empowered in the care I receive. My care is grounded in my beliefs in reproductive sovereignty: that we all have the right to decide what happens to our bodies, and to have the information needed to create informed decisions about our experiences. Anti-imperialism, Indigenous sovereignty, and Black liberation, are foundational to my value systems. On a personal scale, that translates as the knowledge that although we live within systems of oppression — our lives, dreams, and generations, are so vibrant and deserving of freedom, joy, and safety. I believe in a future where all of us are free — where our BIPGM (Black, Indigenous, People of the Global Majority), 2SLGBTIQA+, fat, disabled, and neurodiverse loved ones are safe, where there is healing for survivors of sexual, domestic, & state violence, and where all birthing people are offered deep, culturally relevant and humble care through their journeys into becoming.

I am passionate about the emotional/physical/spiritual processes that emerge during the transitional space of birth and postpartum, and treat birth and postpartum transitions as ceremonies. I am eager to share what I know, and to be curious around what I do not know, so that we can learn together. I incorporate herbal support, Traditional Chinese/Korean Medicine frameworks of care, moxibustion, belly binding, mental health care plans, and ear acupuncture (5NP) as integral parts of my practice (shoutout to Canoe Journey Herbalists for gifting me the practice of acu-wellness). I am a life-long learner, and approach my care work with curiosity, joy, and gentle commitment to your ongoing wellbeing, guided deeply by the stars of my community, mentors, ancestors, and the families that I work with.

I believe that the care we offer one another has the potential to shape the future, and would be honored to be part of your birth and postpartum story.
